If this review saves even one person it's worth it. Company failed to identify a pin on my property and we installed a fence based on their flags. Now, we just donated a 6ft x 80ft piece of land to our neighbors. Eric gave me an attitude, continuously pushed back dates (2 weeks, 4 weeks, 6 weeks, 4 months), then offered to come back out if I gave him a credit card number. Part of being a good business is standing by your work and doing right by your customers.

Unreliable and rude. We had spent a silly amount of money with them and they would never be on time and would consistently not show up when they said they would. This is a problem when building and when I called and expressed my thoughts and told them the importance that it was done I was told "find someone else" and hung up on. Who is the rude one?

Eric Nielsen has done multiple surveys for me in the past 8 years. He has combined and divided large and complicated unplatted parcels in addition to routine home site survey. The jobs were always done in a timely and professional manner. He clearly understood my intentions for the land as well as my needs and concerns regarding county compliance and future land use.
I found him easy and pleasant to work with, accommodating with scheduling, accurate and very through. I highly recommend him and would call him for any further jobs I would have. As an added note: Those involved in county permitting for the first time, might not realize it can be quite a process. County inspections combined with required multiple surveys at different times, zoning issues, etc can result in delays if the builder/owner is unaware of how to best schedule this otherwise lengthy process. It is not the surveyors job to tell the builder/owner this! I suspect other, less than 5 star, reviews are due to this lack of understanding.

Eric Nielsen is an excellent choice if you need a survey. My family has worked with him on several jobs in Brevard since the 1990s. The staff is professional, detailed, courteous and friendly. In addition, their fees are pretty modest considering the great quality and accuracy of the work done. Highly recommend.

I have worked with Eric on numerous occasions, I refer clients to him regularly he is always reliable and the quality of his work is great. I have never worried about weather the survey is accurate or not, Eric's surveys are always accurate. it's a pleasure to work with him and also his work product.

BEWARE OF THIS GUY! I hired him to survey my land as part of building my home. He said he would come out the next day, and didn't. I called him and he said he would definitely get to it the next day and didn't. Two weeks later he finally completed the job. He immediately wanted payment of course! Then he had to come back out for the tree survey. Again he delayed and delayed, but again, after finishing wanted payment immediately.
We needed the plot plan to get permits. At this point we didn't want to use him, but a new surveyor would have cost an additional $700 so we gave him another chance. It took him TWO WEEKS to get the plot plan done (of course promising he would have it done immediately!). After we got the permits he had to stake out the house. He was again a no show.
At this point we had enough and fired him. Note, I paid him immediately each time, expecting that maybe he would see that I was a good paying customer and give me better service. NOT EVEN CLOSE!
