Ron Nelms, as the Principal, is licensed as a Professional Land Surveyor in three States which include California (PLS5804), and Arizona (#29269). He is also a member of the California Land Surveyors Association (CLSA), and the Arizona Professional Land Surveyors (APLS). Our firm is capable of operating a fully equipped field crew, which include GPS equipment, and Robotic Total Stations.
The theme of land surveying is that a surveyor, by tradition and education, should be an expert measurer. Measurement includes not only keeping current with the latest techniques, but also understanding the old techniques on which many descriptions were based. It must, by necessity, include those areas that are on the edges of surveying, namely calculations or computations.
