Founded in Urbana in 1975, Berns, Clancy and Associates is a multi-disciplinary consulting firm encompassing civil engineering, urban planning, traffic engineering, transportation planning and engineering, agricultural engineering, hydrology, drainage, environmental engineering, municipal engineering, construction administration and surveying services.
Services
Since inception, Berns, Clancy and Associates has grown steadily to its current staff of approximately 20 employees, including 5 Professional Engineers, Surveyors, and Planners. Of these employees, six (6) are graduate Civil Engineers, one (1) of whom is also an Attorney, and one (1) area graduate Agricultural Engineer.
Berns, Clancy and Associates is known for the quality of our projects. Quality is designed into the project from the beginning, but must also be followed all the way through the construction phase. Our concern for the details of a project for efficiency, visual aspects, cost control and overall site compatibility is well known.
In addition to providing engineering services to communities throughout East Central Illinois, Berns, Clancy and Associates offers on-going municipal planning services to various communities and agencies. Our services include assisting local governments with land use planning, public facility and transportation network planning, and development decisions.
