AP Surveying company is a professional and an exceptional surveyor company but most importantly they are honest.
A county worker told us they couldn't find any of the property markers on our land, which was super stressful. Being from the city and from another state, if she could not find them, surely I would not be able to find them.
Our property is extremely wooded and had 12 different corners that needed to be marked, so we requested that the AP Survey company 2 years ago. As recommended by the County Worker I then called them to come back out and correctly mark the property lines. The owner of AP Surveying Company was so respectful and professional during our phone call and was confident that he had marked the lines, He respectfully offered to come back out at an additional fee of course to remark them. Even though we had already previously paid it was definitely way less expensive to use them again. AP company gave us a really good discount for the second visit. A young man named Lucas came out, and he was so respectful, nice and patient with us. When he arrived, he immediately introduced himself, he clearly stated what he would be doing, explaining what his purpose was and asked me if I had any questions. The initial Surveyor Adam did the same thing 2 years ago. Lucas asked me what I needed and that if I thought of any questions later to ask. Lucas explained what he would be doing, which is fairly unusual. He actually showed us 3 of the 12 corners where the markers were already there the entire time! I was a bit embarrassed. Lucas explained that markers are usually placed a certain number of inches from the actual property line corner and could have been located with the use of a metal detector and GIS.. He was quick but detailed. He put down bright plastic streamers where the markers were so that the county workers would easily find them and promised to put new pins in any corners that were missing. I was again embarrassed that the pins were there and frustrated that I was not knowledgeable enough to show the country worker. Nevertheless AP Company did a great job!
Im still confused about why the county couldn't find them. During this time Lucas never gave me an attitude. He answered ever question I had. He told me his boss Adam wanted me to understand the process and to answer any of my questions. When Lucas completed the work, he thanked me for choosing them. Once again I was impressed. Adam, Lucas at the AP company truly did an excellent job. Thank you all for being so understanding, professional, positive, patient and explaining things to me! I am definitely more knowledgeable! I highly recommend AP Surveying Company. They not only serve you but educate you. Thank you
