
Dioptra adds Cory Scoffield. Cory is a recent graduate of Idaho State University with a degree in Geomatics Engineering Technology. Cory has spend the last couple of years working with the Idaho Transportation Department's District 5 Location Surveyors in Pocatello, ID.

Dioptra has been providing surveying, mapping, and G.I.S. services since 2000. Prior to the creation of Dioptra, Rodney Burch was the original founder of a full service surveying & engineering company in Southeast Idaho. After selling the former company and serving as the Program Coordinator of the Civil Engineering Technology Program at ISU, Rodney returned to the consulting profession doing business as Dioptra Geomatics.

Dioptra leads the industry in the "Geodetic Control" of survey locations. Simply stated, we can measure, collect data, and analyze information on any position or feature on the earth. Dioptra has been instrumental in the implementation of the Multi-State Control Point Database (MCPD) web application for the State of Idaho and is trained to re-set NGS monuments.
