Appraiser Trainee/Office Automation Clerk

Responsible for the field work and office work needed to present forward to the Chief appraiser in means to better asses land values and property ownership in the county (Delta). Record data with accuracy to enter in our systems to obtain a good system of record keeping and land titles. Perform task as to provide the tax payer good customer service. Assist tax payers with the ability to read/interpret maps in order for the tax payer to gain the information needed. Responsible to enter all data and field notes made after every property inspection into our system.

Software/Programs Used:
PACS: Use to enter data to property accounts when field notes and changes to the accounts are present.
Google Earth: Use to map out and locate property to provide a better overview of locations.
Microsoft Word: Used to write out Legal Descriptions in our format. Also used to make labels and letters needing to be sent out to the tax payers.
Microsoft Excel: Used to create spread sheets. Used to keep tract of property that has been inspected amongst the year. Also used to organize data, calculate acreages and to sum up other mathematical problems.

Pictometry: Used to view aerial photos of areas throughout the county to help get a more accurate reading on properties which have a minimal or no access to its location. Used to measure structures and land tracts through aerial photos to gain an approximate measurement of subject being inspected.

California Gas Company’s Pipeline Integrity Project which consist of acquiring and plotting survey measurements, depict elevations, depth, PCM surveys of gas lines, prior to and after construction.
