Voelkel Land Surveying, PLLC, is a family-owned & operated land surveying company situated in downtown Kerrville, Texas. The firm was established in 1972 by D.R. Voelkel, and is now operated by his sons, Don and Lee Voelkel. involved in the business are Aaron Yates and Vincent Voelkel, grandsons of D.R. Lee Voelkel is the County Surveyor for Kerr County, Texas.

Land Surveying is the practice of accurately determining the terrestrial or three-dimensional space position of points and the distances and angles between them. These points are usually, but not exclusively, associated with positions on the surface of the Earth, and are often used to establish land maps and boundaries for ownership or governmental purposes.
Voelkel is located on the northwest corner of Water and Clay Streets in downtown Kerrville. The two-story office building is beige with brown trim. The building shares the block with Hastings, and is the only building on the block. The entrance/exit to the downtown parking garage is directly across Clay Street from the office.

This a GREAT Company! I stopped in to see when I could schedule a property survey and Danny and Justin followed me to our property ready to survey. Within 2 hours all iron rods (12) marking all corners were found! Danny and Justin are a credit to this company. They are extremely courteous and professional and they didn't mind me tagging along with them. From management to Danny and Justin are great people.

I work for a large title company, and over the span of 5 business days, I have called their office and the receptionist has told me that Lee and Don were too busy to take calls or were in meetings EVERY time I called. As requested, I then sent in two separate survey quote requests for a property and never received so much as a reply or acknowledgement back.
