A subdivision plat is a map that shows how land is divided, typically in a subdivision. Subdivision platting occurs when a larger parcel of land is separated into multiple, smaller parts of land. The subdivision plat is a legal document used to define property boundaries. Depending on the location of the property, a subdivision plat is normally required when the owner of a tract of land divides the tract in two or more parts to lay out a subdivision of the tract.This requirement was established by state statute and regulated by the local governing body.
GPS (Global Positioning System) was developed and is maintained by the US Department of Defense. Today, GPS is used in many of our everyday activities from our cell phone to our in car navigation. GPS for surveying is a much more refined process that can achieve positional results in the millimeters of accuracy.
The engineering design survey brings together many of the specialized skills of the Registered Professional Land Surveyor. From the GPS control survey that brings precise locations, the boundary survey that determines the location of the project boundaries and the topographic survey that identifies the physical characteristics of the project.

We work closely with your design engineer to translate their design to the field.

They are incredibly patient and thorough. We had a complicated situation, as we are in the ETJ of Princeton, with a public access easement. They worked hard on the survey/plat, answered all our questions, and even corresponded with the city directly at times. Competitive prices, and fair.
