OUR HISTORY Nelson Surveying Inc. is a third-generation family owned and operated firm. We opened our doors for business in 1954 when Thomas W. Nelson founded NSI. His son, Larry Nelson began surveying as a young boy and took over as owner in 1982. Peter Nelson became a third-generation owner in 2017 and now has over 20 years of surveying experience.

Had them survey one mile of heavy timber land and the two young men did it great in the canyons south of Lake Superior 2017.
