So rich in history it's a walk in the past to all those that served this great nation. I'm thankful we are as a nation remembering all who went before us. Very family friendly. Not recommend for anyone that can't get around well. Up and down and constantly picking Up your legs.

We All enjoyed this place very much. The ship is really cool and very realistic. You see actual cabins, the kitchen is extremely realistic with vending machines, where you walk in line with your tray and get your food, which they have that looks very realistic by the way. You experience what it's really like to be on or working on a ship. Inside the museum there is a theater, aquarium, play areas and more. Three floors I believe. It's fairly priced as well. If you're in the area and haven't seen it or been there, it's something nice to do. It's good for the whole family:

Kind of a family tradition I served in the Navy so every few years when we're visiting we go and see what's new always a delight knowledgeable staff working the various mini museums and fish tanks

A well layed out and fun place. From, education, hands on experiences (water curre to, giant Battleship, making paper, etc.) Informative photos and plaques are located everywhere. Staff is really friendly and helpful. This place willfully up your whole day, and then you have the ship! It is HUGE, so much to see, fabulous! Well worth seeing, I recommend getting a yearly or season pass, it is place that takes time to experience the full scope of it and is great for a repeat experience. The Naval Museum is definitely something to put on your list when you travel to Virginia Beach. If you would like to learn more about the US Navy, the town of Norfolk is the place to visit. Back in the days when I was working in Virginia Beach, I got a chance to have a tour of the Naval Station Norfolk, the world's largest naval base and it was incredible to se the beautiful ships and carriers from very close. The Naval Museum is definitely something to put on your list when you travel to Norfolk

My 13 and 8 yo boys had a blast! Plenty to read and learn yet enough games and interactive centers that kept them engaged. I thought 3.5 hours would be enough but we didn't see it all. We're going back soon! Military discounts given on site

A great look into Naval history. I wish that I had more time to spend looking through the museum, but after six hours on the Wisconsin (Navy Veteran/history nerd). I didn't have much time before they closed. Seeing artifacts from naval history were exciting. I was very impressed by the USS Wisconsin's silver service on display. Hopefully one day soon I will go back and see the rest.

Our family overnight on the Battleship Wisconsin was FABULOUS! Tammie and Greg were extremely knowledgeable, well organized, and lots of fun! They went above and beyond to ensure we had a once in a lifetime memorable experience. It was very reasonably priced as well. Similar in price to a day at a theme park but having the battleship to ourselves for a private tour and overnight in the crews quarters was much more memorable. The beds were amazingly comfortable and the breakfast was delicious. Hope to return with the rest of our family sometime. Thanks for an awesome time!

Took our family of five (including six year old twins and our 2 1/2 year old son in a stroller)! Touring the Wisconsin was amazing. Not a stroller friendly experience and too tight for a carrier (we didn't expect to be able to access all of the ship with the stroller so it wasn't an issue, just a heads up for others!). My wife and son in stroller enjoyed the sunshine and the views on the main deck, while the twins and I toured the entire ship! The Children's Museum was wonderful with so many unique, hands on learning opportunities! Staff was friendly and welcoming. Highly recommended.
