The minority firm of L.R. Pass & Associates was established in July of 1994 to provide Land Surveying services in the areas of Engineering, Design, Boundary, Construction, Condominium Conversion, Topographical, and Major Control Surveying along with srvices of Subdivision Planning and Design. As a Land Surveying and Limited Engineering company, the areas of specialization are in Engineering Surveys, Site Developments, Building Rehabilitation Surveys, Sewer Construction Locations, and Construction Layouts.
Located the boundary of the property and give reference points relating to adjoining property and rights of way. Mortgage inspection includes field investigation, measurements and graphic representation of improvements. Specialized survey that meets specific need peticular to title insurance purposes, to enable title insuracne companies to insure titel to land with exceptions as to survey matters.

I've called, emailed and filled out the online communication form, multiple times in the past two months, and no one ever responds! The one time I was able to reach someone via telephone, she promised to call me back and never did! I received Plat of Surveys from the seller that had been completed by this company and just needed to update the surveys. I'm not sure how anyone gets a survey from this company? Terrible customer service!

L.R. Pass & Associates, P.C. is one of the best companies (not just surveyors) that I have ever worked with. As a smaller firm in the Chicagoland area which concentrates in Real Estate, we rely heavily on the Land Surveyor to assist us in meeting very tight and urgent deadlines. I cannot even begin to count the number of times when I have personally failed to schedule a survey early in the process only to be saved by the incredible efforts and commitment to making miracles happen by this company.
Their office staff is incredibly hard working and often works well into the evening and on weekends. They are remarkably responsive via email, and go above and beyond to assist clients when they take them on. As a fellow small business owner, I know just how challenging keeping up with demand and juggling so many balls in the air can be, and while I am sure that some of the other Google Reviews are outliers which likely occurred due to the company being inundated with requests, I can assure you, if you're in need of a Land Survey in the Chicagoland area, this is unequivocally a company you should use!

Huge waste of time. Avoid at all cost. Started dealing with them about 35 days ago. I explained to the lady that answers phone that I need survey done ASAP and told her if you guys are busy I understand I can call someone else because this is urgent. I need it in order to apply for my business license per village requirement. The only reason I contacted them in the first place is because they had originally did the survey for previous owner that we bought the building from.
I figured to give them first choice. They assured me they can handle it and someone I guess his name is mr pass will call me and work on it and finish it in a week. No calls back only when I call several times or text the lady I would be told expect an email. I echo the other review they never care to communicate or send any emails after they promise. below is picture of text messages with the lady that answers the phone.

I received your info from Sharon Zagos my real estate attorney and I will make sure I share the information with her. I have received THE WORST service from this company from the very beginning of this process. Because it was recommended by Sharon's office I assumed the initial mistake of sending me a form that was to be filled that already contained the previous customers information (name, address, credit card number, and more) I assumed it was a harsh mistake.but no I continued with the process only for them to tell me they were going to complete the survey for several days with NO supply!
Now over TWO WEEKS LATER I am being told day after day that my survey results would be sent to me via email and standard mail NOTHING! Clearly, this company is a FLAKE and I have no problem letting others know how sketchy this company is. LIES, PROMISES, AND UNANSWERED VOICE MESSAGES & EMAILS! NEVER AGAIN
