Hugo Reed and Associates was founded in 1948 as a land surveying firm, and since then has operated continuously in the Lubbock region. The firm evolved in 1978 to incorporate civil engineering services. HRA is now the largest firm in the region offering professional land surveying, civil engineering, and land planning services.
Providing professional land surveying services in West Texas, New Mexico, and Oklahoma since 1948. In Texas, a Registered Professional Land Surveyor (RPLS) must hold a minimum of a bachelor's degree, as well as undertake a two-year apprenticeship before obtaining a license from the State of Texas to perform certified land surveys.

I went outside for a walk the other day and noticed someone covering a hole that looked to be on my property and when I asked him what he was doing he said "trying to find the property line for the neighbors house" and that's fine but I told him its usually along with the fenceline. Definitely not a foot and a half over on the other property. Not saying my yard is perfect but it definitely has a dead spot in it from them digging it up.
I also dont think they would have notified me on doing it I just happen to see them doing it. Not sure if it's part of the job for them to dig holes at will on the properties like that but I'm going to assume its not. they just need to make sure on the spot they are digging up before they start.
