We had contacted several surveyors, and found Dominion to be the most reliable and reasonably priced. It did take a while for the project to be done, but the crew was extremely friendly, and even waited for us to return to the house (10-15 minutes) after they had finished to give us a walk through of the property lines. We received the plat both via email and hard copy. We appreciated the email so we could move more quickly with our fence project. We would definitely recommend them.

Bought a house, and are highly satisfied with the survey plat copies that were provided, and the customer service provided afterwards when I asked for clarification on a few matters. Will likely hire them to perform a monumentation survey. Have not met any of their field personnel, but judging from the products they provided to my closing company, I would feel good about hiring them for future work.

My residential property is located on the boundary of the Huntley Meadows Park in Groveton. As an animal lover and undergraduate Biology major, prior to entering medicine, I appreciate and enjoy the abundance of wildlife that live in the local wetlands conservation area. I have been greeted by a pair of yearling deer strolling down Vantage Drive, encountered foxes and an occasional coyote in my driveway and of course, the woodchuck that lives under my shed and the rabbit family that inhabit the wood cradle on my backyard patio. Providing a safe space for wild animals that consider my home their home, while at the same time protecting the environment and discouraging interspecies predation are important considerations for me as a responsible homeowner.

In an effort to better secure my one third of an acre lot, in June of 2018, I decided to add additional fencing to my property. To avoid the possibility of any boundary disputes with my neighbors, I asked Dominion Surveyors to confirm the accuracy of the preexisting iron pipe markers. Their service was outstanding. Recently I needed another laminate copy of the drawing of my lot.

I spoke with a lady in the Dominion Surveyor's office on a Monday and two days later I had two complimentary laminate copies. If you are looking for a prompt, accurate surveyor that demonstrates due diligence and professionalism in everything they do, Dominion Surveyor's is your best choice in Northern Virginia.

I needed a property line marked and Dominion was quick to both get my job on the schedule and come out to do the work. The price was reasonable and the employees professional. Phone staff at the office we're also responsive and friendly.

I got more than I expected from the survey (trees in ownership question marked on plat, extra copies of plat, laminated copy of plat, .pdf copy of plat). The surveyors showed me and explained an issue when they were here with one of the boundary markers so that I would understand it. Plus good, responsive customer service. Their rate seems to be the norm for surveys.

This company was suggested to us by our contractor (who will also hear about this), but I can't recommend them to anyone. After getting a survey done at the end of February, they neglected to send an invoice to a valid email (I have a copy of the invoice where the email is incorrectly stated). They also never snail mailed an invoice, but did decide to engage some two bit law firm to send a threatening letter without any attempt to contact me despite having my cellphone.

We have a nearly perfect credit score (as close to 815 as you can get), and these silly fools who don't send an invoice to a valid email or deign to mail one resort to threats of a lawsuit! I don't care how good they are at surveying, they are way below sub par for customer service and accounting and finance protocols.

Fair and honest land surveyors. Great people and a great company.

I have been in construction industry for 15 years. I have never worked with such an unprofessional group in all these years. They have done two sets of full grading plans for me which they were supposed to finish in eight weeks. It took them 22 weeks. That's 5 1/2 months! During those 5 1/2 months, they have given my projects to three different grading engineers.

The first one quit, the second one was unresponsive and after several emails and phone calls the third one finally finished the sets. To top it off, they charged me more than $10,000 for each set. Companies like you should be close down for business. You give construction industry a bad name. I hope you guys experience the same thing you put me through. Then maybe you will understand.

Dominion Surveyors were recommended to us, but I can't in good faith recommend them to anyone. We hired them to do a very simple update of a survey that they had done previously. Not only did they charge us $500 for about 30 min in the field and 30 min on the computer, they took TWO MONTHS to deliver, when they promised it in 2-3 weeks. They never even responded to us. In the end they only came through because we had external parties request delivery. Save yourself the trouble, try elsewhere.
